DMA assisted a Fortune 500 apparel manufacturer and retailer with the deployment of Vertex O Series across six e-Commerce platforms (one per key company brand). At the onsite of this project, DMA created a tax template to ensure the solution would require little to no redesign as the client rolled out across multiple entities. As part of the tax template, DMA generated sample XML inputs, smoke tests, and other technical documentation to enable the client to successfully develop the integration.
DMA performed all requirements gathering, design, and configurations related to Vertex O Series. We created report outputs to standardize the monthly reporting and compliance functions as well as audit support. Our team also created the client’s cloud infrastructure and provided ongoing support and upgrades to their Vertex system.
DMA provides commodity tax recovery services to a multi-billion-dollar retailer of electronics. Our commodity tax professionals identified GST/HST and QST Input Tax Credits/Refunds and provided the client with recommendations to recover more than $4 million for this client. Due to our outstanding client service, the client has now engaged DMA to provide real property assessment reviews for its properties in both the US and Canada.

DMA has formed a strategic client relationship with a multi-billion-dollar global apparel retailer to deliver tax savings and provide system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy. Through detailed analysis, DMA’s tax professionals identified tax recovery opportunities for VAT, GST/HST, and QST. With the client’s approval, we pursued the tax recovery opportunities and have generated more than $13 million in tax savings for the client. Due to the significant overpayments and the client’s desire to reduce tax inaccuracies in the future, DMA also incorporated our Tax Process Optimization services into the deliverables. Our tax and technology professionals identified tax system and process enhancement opportunities and developed a roadmap for the client, which defined a strategy to achieve the client’s goals. DMA’s technical professionals then deployed enhancements within the client’s Oracle connection to Vertex O series in support of the client’s strategic goals.
