Potential Impact of South Dakota v. Wayfair and Emerging Technology on Your Tax Department Processing
Atlanta, Georgia
Tuesday October 2, 2018

DMA and Vertex are hosting an invitation only CPE accredited roundtable and working luncheon addressing the impending impact of South Dakota v. Wayfair on corporate tax decision making as well as understanding how emerging technologies impact tax department processing and planning.

South Dakota v. Wayfair is a pending U.S. Supreme Court case dealing with sales tax for purchases made over the internet. This case will determine whether Quill Corp v. North Dakota, which does not require retailers to collect sales or use tax with mail order or internet sales unless retailers have a physical presence in the taxing state, will be the law going forward. Peers will be able to discuss potential outcomes and solutions to the decision.

We live in a world ruled by technology. This technology can automate and ease the daily tax work burden of organizations. Learn how emerging technology can shape the efforts by your IT and Tax Departments.
