ROLE
Dan leads a team of DMA’s property tax consultants in the Midwest. He oversees and performs real and personal property tax assessment reviews to identify savings and refund opportunities. Dan negotiates assessment reductions via informal meetings with assessors and defends his positions before assessing jurisdictions and Boards of Appeal. He continuously researches and monitors various legislative proposals to analyze the potential impact on property tax.

- Prior to joining DMA, served in leadership positions providing tax consulting services for two of the largest national public accounting firms
- Developed and implemented process, procedures, and controls for the practice to ensure cost-effectiveness and client satisfaction
- Experienced in the analysis and valuation of commercial, industrial, unitary, multi-family, and special-purpose properties
- Continually researches and monitors various legislative proposals and analyzes impact on taxes
