ROLE
Matt provides technical consulting services encompassing state and local income, franchise, and other business activity taxes. These services include reviewing tax returns, identifying potential adjustments or positions to benefit clients, developing tax planning strategies, and evaluating and implementing planning opportunities for DMA clients. Additionally, he reviews proposed audit changes and/or assessments, prepares administrative appeals, and negotiates reductions in audit assessments and audit settlements. Matt has developed training programs for new hires, develops content for DMA’s website, and is a regular speaker at various tax seminars.
