ROLE
Ken provides technical consulting services encompassing all state and local taxes. These services include reviewing tax returns, identifying possible adjustments or positions to benefit DMA’s clients, and identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities. Ken is also responsible for reviewing proposed audit changes or assessments, preparing administrative appeals or refund claims, and negotiating reductions of assessments or proposed assessments. In addition, he provides site selection, tax impact consulting, and tax credit reviews. Ken also performs nexus determination analysis, negotiates voluntary disclosure agreements with states, and conducts multi-state tax research.

- Handled all state and local tax functions of a large corporation and its subsidiaries, including state
and local income, property, and net worth compliance - Expertise in audit management and protest, tax planning, and tax research
- Worked for a public accounting firm where he was responsible for federal, state, and local compliance and tax research
- Served as a supervisor in the state and local tax department for a large financial holding company
