ROLE

Roger is DMA’s Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. In his capacity as General Counsel, Roger advises the company on legal and business aspects of the company’s operations, develops and implements legal and risk prevention policies and procedures, directs the efforts of outside counsel on DMA’s behalf, and is responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements for client engagements and other general commercial contracts. As Corporate Secretary, Roger ensures the integrity of DMA’s governance framework, implements decisions made by the Board of Directors, and acts as the organization’s official record-keeper. He also works closely with DMA’s President and Chief Executive Officer on the development and execution of the company’s strategic direction. In addition, Roger leads DMA’s Human Resources department.

  • Served as the Corporate Counsel, Contracts and Securities, for a large restaurant franchisor where he provided legal counsel for the company’s corporate, real estate, and commercial contracts matters
  • Held the position of Corporate Counsel, Corporate and Securities, Assistant Secretary, and interim General Counsel for a public biotechnology firm
  • Previously served as Corporate General Counsel, Compensation and Benefits, and then as Vice President, Legal – European Supply Chain with Coca-Cola Enterprises
  • Earlier in his career, he worked for a law firm in its Executive Compensation and Employment Benefits practice
  • Began his career in tax with DMA, serving clients in a variety of industries by providing transaction tax recovery services
  • Generated +$7.2 million in transaction tax savings for clients

  • Juris Doctor – Georgia State University College of Law
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting – Lyon College
  • Diploma in European Competition Law – King’s College (London, England)
  • Regularly attends seminars and conferences to ensure he remains abreast of changes in the laws
