ROLE
Brian heads DMA’s renewable energy and utility tax credit and incentive initiative, partnering with clients in local tax incentive and credit assessment, procurement, and compliance. He works strategically with utility leaders and renewable energy developers to maximize value by mitigating costs by negotiating, securing, optimizing, and implementing comprehensive economic development incentive packages. Brian works with clients to prioritize local community communication and relationships to maintain a positive working relationship with area elected officials and economic development representatives. He also partners with DMA’s property tax and sales tax teams to interact with tax, operations, finance, real estate, government relations, and management teams to optimize value for clients.
