ROLE

Amanda leads a centralized group of professionals who deliver property tax compliance solutions to DMA’s clients. She oversees the internal quality assurance team responsible for the review of all processes within property tax compliance, ensuring best practices are utilized and exceptional service quality is provided to clients. Amanda assists clients with optimizing their property tax departments by reviewing existing processes, making recommendations for improvements, and implementing necessary process changes. She performs comprehensive reviews of business personal property tax returns and oversees the processing of property tax payments for several high-volume clients. In addition, Amanda reviews auditors’ reports of findings and county tax records to determine areas of tax savings and compliance.

  • Expert in developing and maintaining best practices and procedures for all stages of the personal property tax process
  • Expert in property tax preparation and review
  • Has filed and/or reviewed approximately 25,000 returns annually for DMA’s clients across the US and Canada
  • Extensive experience in the analysis and valuation of business personal property assets
  • Previous experience as a staff accountant at a national manufacturing company, where she was responsible for all accounts payable functions, general ledger reconciliations, and quality control documentation
