ROLE

As Vice President – VAT Operations, Angelo leads the Global VAT consulting and technology practice and serves US- and EU-based multinational clients with a global footprint. He works closely with key client personnel, including tax, IT, order fulfillment, accounts payable, legal, site logistics, regulatory, finance, and supply chain managers, to provide consulting and VAT technology services. Angelo advises clients on all indirect tax lifecycle matters, such as IT deployments, controversy, compliance, tax planning, and indirect tax technology solutions implementations.

15 years in tax technology; 3 years with DMA

 

  • Consultant and resource to numerous Fortune 1000 tax and technology leaders, providing insights on VAT, technology, and automation
  • Advises clients on supply chain planning, compliance, and the indirect tax impact on ERP (add-ons) implementations in several solutions, including SAP, Oracle, Navision, JDE, PeopleSoft, TradeShift, Ariba, Coupa, and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Extensive experience in project management and leading multiple teams managing full lifecycle VAT technology implementations
  • Extensive experience in the areas of implementation processes, integration procedures, and the overall development process
  • Broad knowledge base in transaction tax services and solutions, current marketplace technologies, and emerging technologies
  • Well-versed in Order to Cash, Procurement to Pay, and Record to Report processes
  • Extensive indirect tax experience in LATAM, APAC, and EMEA regions
  • Previously worked for a Big 4 professional services firm, and has worked as a VAT professional in the Netherlands and the US
