ROLE

Uriah oversees the compliance operation, focusing on best practices and exceptional service quality. He monitors risk, facilitates process improvements, ensures teams are supported and staffed appropriately, and identifies ways to enhance the client experience. Uriah ensures that DMA’s compliance managers and analysts adhere to client agreements, properly report client source data, file returns accurately, make timely tax payments, meet deadlines, and adhere to jurisdictional changes. He also oversees notice resolutions for all clients. In addition, Uriah meets with current and prospective clients to discuss compliance services.

 

EXPERTISE

18 years in sales and use tax compliance; 18 years with DMA

  • Extensive experience with all major tax software solutions and ERP systems
  • Works with clients in a broad range of industries, including food and beverage, retail, telecom, and motor fuels
  • Has prepared thousands of sales and use tax returns for DMA clients
  • Previous experience in service and management within the automotive manufacturing industry, as well as serving as a controller for a mental health nonprofit practice
