Mecklenburg County, NC Revaluation Roundtable
Charlotte, North Carolina
Wednesday October 3, 2018

Mecklenburg County, NC is preparing for its reappraisals (revals) that are performed only once every 8 years.

Since this is an unusually long cycle, and because the 2011 reappraisal was so severe that it resulted in a legislative “do over” of the entire process, property owners are understandably concerned about their impending reval notices, which will be issued as early as October. Taxpayers must request an informal review within 30 days of the notice. Are you prepared to review, evaluate, and take action when you receive the new Notices?

Learn more about the Mecklenburg County reappraisal process and your company’s rights and responsibilities at a complimentary Roundtable Luncheon on Wednesday, October 3rd at the Duke Mansion.
Learning objectives and discussion topics:
•          When to expect reval notices, and the deadlines associated
•          What to expect in terms of valuation increases
•          How to be prepared to review, and act, if necessary
Seating is limited; please limit company attendance to two people. There is no fee to attend, parking will be validated if needed and lunch will be provided.
This seminar is intended for corporate tax leadership. Practitioners and representatives from state and local tax agencies are not eligible to attend unless invited by DMA as a presenter.
